Fear of Heights…

A stop on Rainbow Curve in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado with a few of my favorite people – My Dad, Youngest Sister, Myself and My Husband.

I love the mountains and decided this time from a distance. My fear of heights kicked in driving up in Rocky Mountain National Park.  Rainbow Curve is at 10,875 and I begged to go back down at this point. 🙂

Wednesday in Washington

This fourth of July I spent the day working with my sister in law Sabrina, and Nathan.  We woke early, had our coffee, and video chatted with my brother Luis, who is serving in Korea with the Army.  When Luis was ready to pass out from exhaustion (It was the middle of the night for him), we said goodbye and got into our gardening outfits.  Nathan tore down some old goat shelters and started a fire with accelerant, Sabrina worked her fingers to the bone weeding the lettuce patch, and I fought pricker bushes.  We laughed a lot, worked hard, and had a wonderful day in the sun.

Before the hacking of old goat shelters began.

After shot. New hammock, fewer slugs, tired workers.
